「Woman's Torso」

Ossip Zadkine (1890-1967)

Powerful and simple lines, the voluminous appearance-this piece depicts the feeling free from any strict form, while it has the characteristics of Cubism recomposed as an assembly of planes. It is a typical work of Zadkine in his golden days which fully shows his style to harmonize the abstract and the inner feeling of human being.
