Churyo Sato is one of the representative Japanese representational sculptors. He is known for his style to depict the beauty of curvy and well-proportioned modern woman in the natural pose. This is a typical piece of him that vividly expresses human natural figure as he says, "attracted by the innocent and healthy appearance of the model, I intended to sculpt it without any theatrical pose."
