Completed Tokyo University of Education Graduate School in 1976. Went to Europe as an overseas young researcher of Ministry of Education in 1988. His main works are: In the Sun (Encouragement Prize in the 4th Nicchoten Exhibition, 1974), Morning Ocean (Niccho Prize in the 7th Nicchoten Exhibition, 1977), Woman Lost in Thought (Prize for Effort in the 8th Nicchoten Exhibition, 1978), Fragrance of Spring (Niccho Prize in the 10th Nicchoten Exhibition, 1980), Morning Atmosphere (Highest Honors Prize in Nitten Exhibition, 1984), Changing Earth (Exemption of Examination Highest Honors Prize in Japan Fine Arts Exhibition, 1985), and others.
